2. The quotations shall be submitted according to the terms andconditions specified in Paragraphs 3 to 11 unless specified otherwise in thequotation, it shallbe construed that the terms and conditions stipulated hereunder have beenagreed to.
3. The rates be FOR and should include excise duty, sales tax,freight charges, any other taxes, rates or imposition whatever liable inrespect of the supplies. The Kendriya Vidyalaya shall not be liable in respect to pay any tax,freight etc. which has not been expressively stipulated in the quotation in theevent of acceptance of the quotation.
4. There should not be any over writings or corrections in thequotations. If a figure is to be amended, it should be neatly scored out, therevised figure written above and the same attested with full signature anddate. In the absence of the attested signature, the quotation is liable to berejected.
5. The Undersigned does not bind himself to accept the lowestquotation and reserves the right to accept the quotation in whole or in parti.e. with respect to all the articles mentioned in the attached statement or inrespect of one or more than one articles, as he may decide.
6. On acceptance of the quotation, it will become a contract and thecontractor shall be bound by the terms and conditions of the quotation.
7. The person/persons whose quotation isaccepted, herein after called the contractor, shall deposit an earnest moneyalong with the quotation which shall be refunded in the event of rejection ofthe quotation. The earnest money will be forfeited in the event of failure tocomply with the contract. In the event of the acceptance of quotation, theearnest money shall be adjusted towards security deposit which shall be payableat the rate mentioned below.
The Demand Draftshall be drawn on KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA Ahmedabad Cantt. , Ahmedabad , VVN A/C payableat Ahmedabad.
For UPS and Battery:-
Earnest / Security moneydeposit at 10 %of the total value
For Printer, Switch and Modem :-
Earnest MoneyDeposit :- NIL
SecurityMoney deposit at 10 %of the total value
8. If the contractor fails to supply the articles within the timestipulated in the
Letter of acceptance bythe Undersigned, the Undersigned shall be at liberty to purchase the articlesfrom the market or get the rest of the contract completed by any other personor firm and the difference or price, if any, shall be deducted from the earnestmoney/security deposit and in case any amount in excess of the securitydeposit, the contractor shall be liable to pay this amount.
9. The quantity of articles indicated in the attached statement maybe increased or
Decreasedat the discretion of the Undersigned without assigning any reason.
10. In the event of acceptance of the quotation and placing of orderfor purchase, the articles ordered for, would be subjected to an inspection bythe Undersigned or his representative and are liable to be rejected if thearticles supplied are not according to approved samples or do not confirm tothe specifications prescribed.
11. The rates quoted by the contractor shall hold good upto 31st March, 2012
No amendment in the rateexcept increase in the rate of sales tax during the period of execution of the contract, will be accepted.

Subject : Invitation for sealed Quotations forpurchasing of five Computers of HCL on DGC&D rate(withthree year warranty.
Sir/Madam,
The Kendriya Vidyalaya Ahmedabad Cantt. , under KVS, a centrally funded AutonomousBody, is a Society registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860. The Sangathanadministers the Scheme of Kendriya Vidyalayas set up for imparting education to the childrenof transferable Central Govt. Employees among others.
2.Youare invited to submit your most competitive quotation for purchasing of five Computers of HCL on DGC&D rate(with three year warranty )Configuration of require system is attached withform.
3. Bid Price:
a. The prices should be quoted inIndian Rupees only;
b. Each bidder shall submit onlyone quotation;
c. Telex or Facsimile quotationsare not acceptable.
4. Validity of quotations:
Thequotation shall remain valid for a period not less than 60 days after thedeadline specified for submission of quotations.
5. Earnest Money:
Anamount of Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteenthousand only) shall be depositedas Earnest Money along with the quotation.The Demand Draft shall be drawn on KENDRIYAVIDYALAYA Ahmedabad Cantt. , Ahmedabad, VVN A/C payable at Ahmedabad. Quotation without the earnest moneyshall be rejected. The earnest moneyshall be retainable for a maximum period of three months after the opening ofquotation after which it will be returned for unsuccessful bidder/s. No interest shall be paid thereon.
6. Evaluation of quotations:
Thisoffice will evaluate and compare the quotations determined to be substantiallyresponsive i.e., which are;
a) properlysigned, and
b) confirm to the terms and conditions and specifications.
The evaluation would be donefor all the items put together. Thebidder who has quoted for partial quantity / value of any one or more item(s)would be treated as non-responsive. Theoffice will award the contract to the responsive bidder whose total cost forall the items put together is the lowest.
6. A Saleof Tender/quotation form
The tender/quotationform may be received directly from this office on submitting the cash ofRs.100/- on all working days from 9.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. The tender/quotation form may also bedownloaded from the KV website and Demand Draft of Rs.100/- shall be drawn on KENDRIYAVIDYALAYA Ahmedabad Cantt, Ahmedabad, VVN A/C payable at Ahmedabad may be enclosed along with the tender formfailing which the tender/quotation will be rejected.
7. Experience:
Theagency desirous of submitting quotation must have an experience of carrying outsimilar / related work in at least three government / autonomous bodies / PSUsin the last five years. The addressesand the telephone numbers of the client organization shall be submitted alongthe quotation.
8. Award of contract:
The Competent Authoritywill award the contract to the bidder whose quotation has been determined to besubstantially responsive and who has offered the lowest price as per para 5 above;
(a) The bidder shoes bid isaccepted will be notified of the award of the contract by the Office prior toexpiry of the quotation validity period:
(b) Notwithstanding the above, theCompetent Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any quotations andto cancel the bidding process and reject all quotations at any time prior tothe award of the contract.
10. Last date and time of receipt ofquotations:
Youare requested to submit the sealed quotations through Registered Post onlysuper scribed on the envelope as Quotationsfor purchasing of five Computers of HCL on DGC&D rate(with three year warranty ), within 15 days from the date of publication oftender notice. The quotations will beopened at on the same day.
